Awww! This is really amazing... I'm upset at myself for not reading it before! A lot of the Puff entries centered around Susan being a Dragon Keeper (mine included :P), so this is a nice and very surprising change!! And you included each of the prompts into the story itself so flawlessly that you really can't tell they're prompts. For example, I thought it was just pure GENIUS when you talked about the dragon heartstring wand, and then you included the other details in the description by saying "the twelve inch, springy ash wand"... brilliant!! This is a really well-written piece dear and I love it! 10/10 and going in my favorites! Report Review
I really enjoyed this story. I liked how interesting it was and it had me hooked right from the beginning. Thank you for sharing it and for supporting the Hufflepuff House :) The bestestestest.Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm glad that you found it interesting - I certainly had a lot of fun writing it! And go Hufflepuff! Report Review
Lovely one-shot! It was nice to read a story with the characters you chose to include. We did not get too much information about Susan Bones in the books but I think your characterisation of her as a gentle soul makes complete sense. Also, I think you handled all the prompts well and not a single one felt out of place in the story. Well done!Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm glad that you thought I did a good job with this story! Susan was a lot of fun to write because, as you said, we didn't really get to know her in the books, thus allowing me a little more freedom with her personality. I definitely imagined her as being a great friend and I'm glad you think so too! As well I'm glad that you thought that the prompts worked with the story - some of them were hard to work in! Really great work on this one. Very dramatic and so very Luna. She'd walk into a nest of dragons without the slightest thought if she saw a Crumple-Horned Snorkack. Poor Susan, be careful what you promise, you never know how hard it may turn out to be. Loved every bit of this, nice work.Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm really glad that you thought I captured Luna well - she can be such a difficult character to write properly! And yes, Susan should definitely watch what she promises in the future! Hopefully she won't again have to face a dragon! Report Review
