These were my two favorite parts:

Today was a bittersweet circumstance, one I would cherish the rest of my existence; the beginning of a new era for Hermione Weasley and a time to say farewell to Hermione Granger.

You're one step closer to a brighter future by marrying Ron.

I understand given her circumstance why Hermione feels like she's saying farewell to Hermione Granger. I think a lot of women feel like that. It's as if they think they're going to transform into this new person once they marry a man. I suppose they do. I suppose they both do.

Harry's small speech brought tears to my eyes. It was really sweet of him to say and it just fit his character really well.

I never read Sugar & Spice, I suppose I should since I really enjoyed this. I thought it was sweet and it was a great wedding, bittersweet indeed because her parents weren't there but atleast the Weasley's accepted her without question. Unlike Fleur, haha!

Author's Response: I know! Those parts add a certain dynamic to the story which was really needed, in my opinion. I love Harry.

Giving up one's name always seems to evoke some sort of inner crisis in women, a loss of identity, maybe?

I'm actually just rereading 'HBP' right now, and have stumbled on the part where she is introduced as Bill's fiance. I forgot how much everyone hated her.

Oh well. Maybe everyone is mature now and can get along since wars form bonds in strange ways.
