Normally I run from James/Lily stories, but I have just one word for this short bit - excellent. I think it's a perfect capture of teenage love spurned.

You just reviewed one of the chapters for my story (thankyou!) and WOW, I loved this! It was fantastic- something like an idea I had, but never wrote down as I couldn't get it right. This was perfect. Also, I really agree with you about James' love for Lily- and the Patronus/Soul mates thing is so amazing. I think that this sentence: 'Or it might have been due to the fact that they had never seen that level of love before and that it was confusing to the class of thirteen year olds. But it was probably more to do with the fact that no one wanted to give Lily the guilt of knowing that she continually turned down and rejected a boy who loved her in the deepest way, in a way that most boys never could.' enscapulated that feeling very well. I am trying to get a hint of this in my story, 'Hinny'-wise. Keep on writing! x
