This is a promising start to the story.people should never be defined by their parents, it's a cool concept :)

Author's Response: thanks! I decided to write this story because in the books its so often mentioned that Harry 'looked just like his father but had his mother's eyes' and it was something that tied Harry to these people he never knew. But James has always known his parents, and here he is- a gryffindor, carrying on the Potter Legacy but he's realising that maybe, making his parents proud isnt the one thing he should focus on. I just wanted clear distinctions between James and Harry.
