Review #2, by TenthWeasley Chapter one: George

7th May 2012:
Hey! I really wanted to thank you for your review on 'Growing Up Magical' -- it completely and totally made my day, perhaps in a way you might not have anticipated. The fact that you put my name in your author summary, well, that is just mind-blowing to me. And very cool! So, to sort of repay the favor, I wanted to give this a read for you. :)

George-after-Fred fic always makes me sad, but I've got a genuine appreciation for the emotion you put into this. I think you've got a lot of it mapped out realistically, too -- George's denial, and then his grief, and the sort of acceptance that comes with the letter he wrote him in the end.

His coffin, too -- that was a particularly clever bit, the carvings you added. That's not something I've seen before, and I actually quite like it! That was a way for you to get their personalities in there, too. Very admirable. ;)

Thanks again for your beautiful review -- and I hope this might express to you at least a fraction of my appreciation! A job well-done, overall, and you should keep writing. Absolutely! Hope to see you around! ♥

Author's Response: Thank you! I find it easy to write George after Fred's death because when I read it I felt like I had lost my own brother. You have no idea how much this mean to me and I hope you read some of my other work that is coming soon, and I can't wait to read yours! Hope to talk to you soon!

Review #3, by WitnesstoitAll Chapter one: George

Hey! I heard you were a fan of TenthWeasley so I popped over to your page to check out some of your writing!! When I saw this was a George post Fred's death fic, I couldn't pass it up! I think this is an immensely hard subject to deal with and to capture the emotions of, but you did a great job! These stories never fail to make me sad, and this was no exception.

keep up the good work!

Review #4, by Toujours Padfoot Chapter one: George

6th May 2012:
That was a very touching, sad story. It's so awful that George lost his brother but I'm glad you gave him a little bit of closure by enclosing a note in Fred's coffin. He's going to miss him but he'll always have the memories. I really felt the bond between the twins in this story and I think you did justice to Fred, George, and the rest of the Weasley family here. I enjoyed reading it. :) Thank you for sharing!
