Hey, SamMalfoy93 here. I've only ever read a few Albus/Gellert stories, but this is definitely one of the best! You just captured how I see Albus perfectly, his doubts as his childhood came back, but his determination to say no. I loved this! :D Sam.Author's Response: Wow. Thank you sososoSO much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you for reviewing! Great idea for a challenge, btw. :) Report Review
I really like this. I've never read anything about Dumbledore or Grindlewald in fan fiction before so this was quite a treat. You did a great job characterizing both of them. Gellert with his sinister out look and demonic ways. Albus with his calm, cool, collectiveness. Your Descriptions were wonderful as were your flow, pace and dialogue. That all being said you asked a specific question in your area of concern. As I was reading I was also keeping in mind what you had mentioned about there being something that you felt was maybe missing. I did come up with an idea. What if you showed small flashbacks to when they were boys and planning to rule the world. When Albus decided that he had enough of these foolish boyhood games and needed to grow up. It did cost him his sister and brother. It's just a suggestion. Overall, I thought this was a great One-shot and well thought out. Thank you for requesting! Keep up the great writing! =) -SR17Author's Response: First off, thank you for reviewing. Secondly, ahhh! Thank you! That is so lovely to hear. I like your ideas--it would add a lot to the story. Maybe I will go back and change it up. It would be interesting to delve back into that fateful day, as Dumbles does seem to push it out of his mind rather rapidly in my story. Thanks for everything. You are a fantastic reviewer. :) Report Review
This was very well written. You captured Dumbledore very well, which is often a difficult thing to do. You illustrated the relationship between Gellert and Albus well. Good luck :)Author's Response: Awh, thank you very much! I'm super glad you enjoyed it. Fantastic challenge. Report Review
