Author's Response: This is an indepth version of the story that I did for my writers duel entry. One or two people who had reviewed it during that time had commented that though it was good, it might have been better to expand it and do more chapters which I've done.

Hi. It will be interesting to read what you do with this longer version and be able to compare both stories. I look forward to reading it, but may not review every chapter since I know where the plot is going (unless you throw in a twist). I also read the new chapter of TECH 2 but won't review it until a bit more happens, and Hurray for meeting Dumbledore! I was hoping this!

I was hoping you would come back and read the extended version of this story. This was in response to what the other two reviewers had said when they (like yourself) had reviewed it on the hpff account page (unfortunately I could not respond to the reviews). So I thought why not and decided to go with the flow and do it and so far what you read I hoped peaked your interest enough to keep reading. The next chapter is being written just now and I'™ll try and get it up onto the site ASAP.

And also thank you for reading the next chapter of my T.E.C.H. 2 story. I decided to set the story during TGOF because there was a lot going on then and I thought it would easier to work in a side story. I'™m not sure if I got the year right. Another reviewer has suggested that the year should have been 1994/95. I was going by roughly when the book itself was published.

I'™ll try and update both stories soon. Thanks again for your words of encouragement.

I haven't read the other story for this! Shame on me! I'm sorry its taken forever for me to leave you another review that you deserve but my God, my computer decided to DIE on me! It was awful! Anyway, i'm very, very curious about this story, very nice prologue. I actually forget that those aren't really that long and I got a bit depressed. Sigh. Anyway, great start! Oh, I got two new stories posted up. One with Draco Malfoy and the other with Percy (gasp!) and...just for you, I have a fourth chapter for Albus up! Hope you enjoy, can't wait for another chat!

Many thanks for taking the time to read and review the start of this story. The original can still be viewed on the hpff united account page. You’ll be able to leave a review but I’ll not be able to respond to it, and since I like to respond to my readers and show them that I appreciate their comments I decided to do an expanded version of the story (since all entries to writers duels etc are considered donations to the hpff site and cannot be reposted on the individual authors account page) which is okay to do as long as it’s not an exact reposting of the story. And it was really an idea from a couple of readers who did review the original that I started this expanded version.
I’ll get to your stories shortly. I am currently using my mobile phone to read and review stories. And also to answer reviews that are left on my stories. For some reason, my phone only allows me access to 12+ and 15+ stories, and for some reason will not allow me access to mature stories. So I’ll have to use a friend’s computer to access your mature stories.

Haha, well I responded to your review on 'Memories' saying I would look out for this but I didn't expect that as soon as I checked your page it would be here!
