This is an amazing start for a first fanfic. You write really well have describe things in such details. Which is a good thing. I can't wait for the next chapter and do hope to see it soon. I just don't know why Hermione is so sad. Her friends and family are fine. ??? But i'm sure that will come clear soon.
A tip: smaller paragraphs make the story easier to read and allows reader to read better. Well I think it does:)
But this chapter was still fantastic so keep writing.
