Review #1, by SANTUFFLEPUFF Hannah's Hero

16th December 2013:
AHH THIS IS THE CUTEST. I LOVE IT.

Seriously, are they not the best couple ever? I love how you started this in the wake of the Battle of Hogwarts. We only see this from an exhausted, grieving, sleep-deprived Chosen One's POV in the book and it's nice to get a glimpse of what was happening elsewhere in the castle, where possibilities are blooming after war is over.

I thought it very realistic that Neville accidentally attacked Hannah. I'll bet that after years of being on your toes thinking you're about to be attacked, you do the occasional preemptive strike. But at least he caught her after that.

EEE AND THEY ARE ADORABLE. Gosh I just love Neville. He is a hero not because he had to be because of Voldemort and prophecies and all that, but because he chose to be one. And Hannah is so sweet and supportive and perfect for him.

Well, I think this concludes my holiday gush-fest for now. This was a lovely story! :)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for this awesome review! Neville and Hannah are two of my favorite characters so I love writing and reading about them.

This was my first fanfic ever so naturally I cringe every time I read it. I'm so happy you liked it though, despite it being just pure fluff :P

I think that's a big part of why I like Neville so much. He's not the glorious hero like Harry, but that doesn't mean he's any less brave or kind.

Thanks again, your reviews have been so nice! :)

Review #2, by patronus_charm Hannah's Hero

5th February 2013:
Hi!

Aw that scene between Neville and Hannah in the battle of Hogwarts was great, especially the way he caught her, it was just so adorable :') And I really liked the way portrayed Neville as the war hero, as he certainly deserves that title, and I've never really read many stories centered on him in the battle, so it was nice to see him the macho fighter guy ;)

Also the way he was talking to her while she was asleep, shows that he really does care about her and trust her. I mean he's willing to tell her, his fears even is it while she's in an unconsious state.

And the kiss at the end was great, and it had enough fluff to statisfy me, and it was so heart warming! A great one-shot I thought, Kiana :)

Author's Response: Hi there!

Thanks you so much for taking the time to leave this review, it means a lot! :)

I'm really glad you liked it. I love Neville and I think there's a lot more to him than we get to see in the books, particularly as he gets older.

I've always imagined Hannah and Neville being friends before they were involved romantically. Especially since they were together in Dumbledore's Army, I figured they would trust each other a lot.

Thank you so much! This was my first story so I kind of cringe now whenever I think about it but this review helped me think of it in a better light. :) Thanks for reviewing!

25th December 2012:
HO HO HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This is your Hufflepuff Secret Santa! :D

AWH!

THIS WAS ADORABLE BUT IT WASN'T SO FLUFFY THAT I CRINGED!

You've woven the horror through the piece perfectly! And the characterisations of Hannah and Neville have been written perfectly! :D

It's hard to believe that this was your first piece, it's absolutely amazing! :D

Again, I loved your descriptions and emotion, it was just done so well! :D

10/10 DEFINITELY! :D

HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS! :D

Author's Response: Oh my gosh, this review actually means so much to me, especially since you liked my first foray into the world of writing! I was so nervous when I first posted it!

I love Hannah and Neville, so I'm really relieved you thought I wrote them well!

Thanks so much, you're the best Secret Santa anyone could ask for!

Review #4, by dirtydeedsdonedirtcheap Hannah's Hero

24th June 2012:
There's something about Hannah and Neville that warms my heart. They're my OTP and I have written them...maybe five times? I have an obsession with this pairing because I want to know how they started to like each other, their first date, how his Gran accepted her into the family.

I thought you did a wonderful job writing both of them. This was a really sweet interpretation of them. I loved how you wrote Hannah, that she's the one that has to show Neville his worth. I really believe that.

There's just one thing:

But Neville was already shaking his head. "That was a fluke. I didn't even process what I was doing, it was just adrenaline, I-" Hannah's eyes had stopped him mid sentence. They were burning with a furious light that Neville had only glimpsed a handful of times before, all during the war. Hannah turned and faced him head on. "Neville Longbottom," she began. "You're going to have to accept that you are an amazingly brave person. That you are a hero. If you insist on writing off the snake, then what about Dumbledore's Army? You were our leader, Neville, our best fighter. When we needed someone to follow, you led us."

^ Really confusing. You should break up the conversation here since it's two different people. First you have Neville's line and then you have Hannah's response. I'd edit it so it reads easier into two paragraphs.

Author's Response: i love them and think they're just so perfect for each other! ive read a couple of yours and thought they were amazing! :) i will be sure to write that down so i remember to edit it! thank you so much!

This was beautiful. I love how you portrayed Neville and a shy down to earth guy but is strong and caring when it comes to others. Him lifting her up after he stunned her was so sweet. Good story!

Author's Response: awww, thanks. i love neville :) thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

Aww, this is gorgeous. Poor Hannah. And poor Neville. I love reading people's takes on what happens immediately after the end of the DH and some of them are very far-fetched, but this definitely fits in with everything. I like your writing style very much, by the way! Lovely job :)

Author's Response: thanks very much, im glad you liked it. aww, they're both so sweet, i love them! thanks for taking the time to leave a review, i appreciate it! cheers!
