Review #1, by Loony Luna Lovegood James and the Marauder's Map

10th April 2012:
Cool! I'd suggest you add something like Harry finds out and was planning to give it to James or whatever you want, it's your story. It was good! =]

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'll think about doing a follow-up or something. Glad you enjoyed it!

Review #2, by MadamePuddifoot James and the Marauder's Map

9th April 2012:
What a great idea for a one-shot! It's sweet and funny and I always love little insights into the Weasley/Potter household! I love your portrayal of James and thought his interaction with Lily at the start was great. The comments from the Marauders were brilliant and especially how they just disregard Wormtail's views. To finish off, I loved this and am definitely adding it to my favourites!! Oh! Just so you know, I always pictured James and Albus to be two years apart as well!

Author's Response: Well thank you so much for the lovely review! I can assure you it is very much appreciated. I'm so glad you enjoyed this little piece. I love James too, and the Marauders. But who doesn't love them? And I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who pictures James and Albus to be those ages - it just fits better in my head. And finally, thanks for adding to favourites, it really does make my day!

Review #3, by BKL8008 James and the Marauder's Map

16th March 2012:
Firstly, it's a great theme for a one-shot. I very much enjoyed it. Everyone portrays James as either some raging hellion (that I've read, and then run), or a total blockhead. Given that there's no real description of him in here, that adds to it. Is he more Potter or Weasley? We don't know, and that works. Also, tanks you lots fer the gooder grammer und spilling. ;) Sorry...had to say it. I easily read through this a couple of times, relishing the well-captured moment of digging around in something you're not supposed to!

I had only a slight bit of confusion. In the (awful) canon epilogue, Albus and James are going to Hogwarts and it's Albus' first year. If if James is 13 here, then it would be his third year and Albus' second? But the tone implies that Ginny helping Albus because he needs it, since it's his first time? I've always been of the idea that James and Albus are only a year apart, and read a lot of that. Anyway, just a thought.

Very nice piece.

Author's Response: First of all, ohmygoodness thankyou so much for all of these reviews that I have to read! I got home this evening and here they all were. It made my day.
I'm glad you enjoyed this one-shot. It annoys me too about the usual way that James is portrayed - here I just tried to avoid any obvious cliches and it seems to have turned out fine.
Thanks! Grammar and spelling is one of my biggest bugbears I must say, so I always do my best to make mine as good as possible. Something often slips through but I do my best.
Well, seeing as JKR never actually stated how old James was at the time, I have always pictured him as being two years older than Albus. That's just the way I see it but I know that many people see it differently.
I'm off to read (and savour!) the rest of your reviews now.

Review #4, by inkbutterfly James and the Marauder's Map

29th February 2012:
These are the same characters right?
I liked it, and I love the way that Moony, Prongs and Padfoot all ignore what Wormtail has to say.
Its so cool seeing the grandson find the map, but it sort of made me go all nostalgic for the Maruaders :(
I would love a story seeing what James does with the map, and if he can manage to live up to the name of the Weasley twins and the Maruaders. Being decended from both of them should make him the best trouble maker in Hogwarts history.
Anyway, it was very good :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed this little story too. It made me very nostalgic as well. I hadn't thought about doing a sequel to this but it's definitely a good idea! I'll have to think about it. I'm off to reply to the rest of your reviews now!

Cute and funny! I love it! I laughed so much when I read the Marauders' comment about dishonesty, haha. Excellent one-shot! 10/10

Author's Response: Hehe, I like that bit too. Obviously with their excellent behaviour at school they are well qualified to give advice like that. Thanks so much for reviewing and for the 10/10!

3rd February 2012:
Oh, Jamesy. :) I really liked the Marauders' comments to James, and the way that Wormtail was mentioned, but didn't contribute. I liked the bit with "Uncle Nev" as well. Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so happy that you liked it. Wormtail definitely did not deserve to get his say and I'm glad you agree. Thanks for taking the time to review!
