Love Regulus! Especially his response to his brother's question about his parents hating him. I was thinking along those same lines as well when I read about his tie -"You're pushing it Sirius... They'll really hate you now, not that you care or anything..." : )

I think this story has promise, but I think it may be misclassified as "Next Generation." More people might read and enjoy it if it were classified as Marauders era... The characters do not really match a next-gen story. :) Cheers!

I just love your writing style! And Regulus! Lately, he's become my favorite character. I always imagined him loving his brother, kinda following Sirius around, creeping in his brother's shadow ("My whole life I had been safely living in the shadow of funny, handsome, outgoing Sirius Black and then suddenly, the shadow was gone and I was exposed to the harsh sun. I yearned to be in his shadow once more." - my favorite line by the way!) and I always wondered if he thought about Sirius when he suddenly turned against Voldemort. Their splitting of ways must have hurt Regulus : ( And Ingrid, I'm very curious about her story! With Regulus of course! And like I said before, I have a feeling that once you post the last chapter, I'll be balling like a baby.
I really can't wait for the rest of your story! Haha!

And I've always thought that Regulus must have looked up to his brother in some way, because his parents, to me, didn't really seem like the nurturing type, so he had to have someone to turn to. Aw Ingrid sounds like a very inspiring character! And Regulus is definitely the way I pictured him when he was younger. Somewhat longing to be like Sirius, yet at the same time hating the way his older brother picks on him.
I have a feeling I'm going to be crying by the time this story's done!
Can't wait for chapter 3 and beyond!
