This was a great read! I just love how much emotion was put into it, and this was just so well-written :3 Report Review
Though I've never had a pet at home, there were 6 puppies in my school whom we fed and played with. I had grown really sad when a male cat killed three of those and we'd buried them on school grounds. This was around 4 years ago, but this story brought my memories back. I really loved this story, and yeah Tasha's story was nice. As you know Snape's my all time favorite and I like your stories and I liked this one too. Keep writing... :)Author's Response: OMG, that's so sad! I never heard of a cat that killed puppies. Kittens, yes, if the mom didn't watch them sometimes. How horrible! They must have been small puppies. Thanks hope you like the other stories. Report Review
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Hope that your poor niece will eventually get over such sorrow. It won't be easy, I know, a hamster I once had when my family was still living in Canada died some sixteen years ago and to this day I couldn't bear to look at a pet shop window if there were other domesticated rodents on display. Now my family is in care of a turtle and a yellowish white dog. Said dog is nothing special, breed-wise, and has yet to be properly housebroken in certain departments if you know what I mean, but, -- with risk of sounding horribly cliche -- we wouldn't trade him for the world. My mother, in particular, finds him most endearing, and would call him by the name of "Wang-Lucky", with our surename added he is practically a child of hers. Now we always sleep most soundly at night, because our dog has always been able to recognize strangers by the sound of their footsteps alone.Author's Response: Yes, eventually she will. The worst part was the sudden shock and it was like watching a train wreck. I'm sorry about your hamster, it's a terrible thing to have a pet die on you. Your dog sounds adorable, sometimes the mixes make the best pets, they are hardier and in many cases smarter than your average purebred. Report Review
oh my gosh!!! Tears are falling down my cheeks. this was such a beautiful way of expressing loss. I always loved Harry and Hedwig and to lose her was devastating. Severus showing Harry how to cope with her loss, helped me too. Thank you.Author's Response: Thanks for enjoying this small ficlet. Report Review
This is wonderful, and you can tell the scenes where Snape is describing his bond with Tasha come from someplace ... real.Author's Response: I have lost many animals in the past and so this story was hard to write. Report Review
