Your story title was the first thing that caught my attention. And so, needless to say, was the way out played out the timeline of your story, connecting each number to a memory. The eerie, sober environment that you create worked out really well. The letter. OMG. THE LETTER. So harsh, so cold, so Malfoy. Wow.
All in all, a very captivating one shot. :)

I liked this a lot! You really started the story off strong, moving right into the plot from the very first sentence. The plot itself was really interesting and unique. I liked the idea of suspected Death Eaters getting number codes, that was really creative.

I did notice several typos, but nothing that a quick run through and edit couldn't fix. I've found that a beta can also be really helpful in catching little things like that. :)

Your description was really brilliant, I really enjoyed reading it. This was an awesome read! The ending really made me happy for Astoria after all her ordeals. Great job!

Author's Response: Hi, thanks for the lovely review :) I'll go through and edit it soon. I swear, as many times as I read through I always miss something. Ive had beta's on other stories and they truly do make a world of difference, this was such a little piece that I didn't bother but with my spelling skills it probably would have been a good idea.
Thanks again for the review :)

{Challenge Review}

This was beautiful. It really was. Your writing style, your descriptions, the story itself, all poetry. And it truly embodied the entire purpose of the challenge. Gosh, I really don't know what else to say. It was just...great. The way you wove her childhood into it, first establishing what she'd done and then later giving the details of it. It was perfect. Because you created this broken character, who we wanted to see make it alright in the end, then you gave it to her. And it was very realistic. You didn't just snap things into place right after she left prison, you created a slow, gradual feel to it. The mention of her child at the end was a beautiful ending. I was a bit confused because of the whole canon Astoria/Draco thing, but I just assumed it was AU about half way through and it made sense again. I think you did very well on Draco's character. He didn't seem ooc at all and that's a wonderful thing!

Thank you so much for entering my challenge! Results should be posted some time over this next week. ^_^ --Jenna

Author's Response: Thank you! this review honestly made me so happy, I can't even tell you how happy :) This challenge was magnificent, I can't thank you enough for putting it together, I was stuck in this stupid little writer's block rut and had been for months and then your challenge jut got me out of it, thank you so much!

Review #4, by EnigmaticEyes16 Little Numbers

Wow, this was a really powerful story. You are really good with description and I wigged out a little during the bits about Azkaban with the torn nails and ugh, that stuff really gets to me, but it's all a part of Astoria's madness so it's okay.

Draco was a real jerk though, letting her take the blame for everything he did and letting her be sent to Azkaban while he goes off and get married. Clearly, he did not learn anything from the war because all he cares about is himself.

I'm glad your story had a happy ending though and really enjoyed reading it. I'm happy she found Blaise and he was willing to take care of her the proper way and ease her back into sanity and finally happiness. It was really nice to have that bit of fluff at the end after all the terribleness of her being in Azkaban and being despised for something she did as a child and cannot really be blamed for.

This was a really good story!

Author's Response: You know how I said your last review made my day? Well that was a lie, this one did :)

This story is one that all just sort of came out in one go and for some reason its' really important to me. I think it's because of how much she loved Draco... I guess I'm just sort of rambling here, anyway, thanks so much for the lvoely review :)

Review #5, by RavenclawWayToBe Little Numbers

2nd January 2012:
Wow, i think this was a great one shot. It had enough information that the characters were in depth enough to understand, but it wasn't so long that i got bored! You did a really amazing job, and i could really see the whole thing with Draco leaving her happen. I think the whole part with the numbers was intriguing and it was really good. The whole story was dark and i understood the circumstances and the description was great, but i think i loved the end because she gets her happy ending, which i think everyone deserves. i loved how you always kept the numbers on her shoulder as a memory and even when she's happy, they always remind her. I loved your whole story!!! But the part with the baby is definitely my favorite, and i don't really know why?!?!?!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! This review made my day :) sorry it took so long for me to respond though.

I'm glad you like the baby bit, this is actually the first fic I've ever written with a pregnancy, even though it's only a few sentences.

Thanks again! ~Ria
