A nice start to your story. I have liked Dudley stories since the end of the final battle and he'd become a more understanding person.
I think that you may have to make a correction here or there (none which effect the plot whatsoever). Dudley would be a cousin (not uncle) to Lily since her dad Harry is Dudley's cousin. And the same to Dudley's daughter.
I think you could get at least a novella (between 17.500 and 50.000 words) out of this story. I know it sounds hard but I thought the same when I first started on this site. Now I have a completed story and a number of WIPS. If you decide to update I'll add you to favs.
So a good start and 9/10.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm gonna blame the fact that it was the wee hours of the night on that little mistake lol, but yea i might make it longer. It was just a spur of the moment idea i had so i wrote it before shutting off the computer.
