yay! looking forward to chapter two! you're a very good writer, although personally i don't think harry and ron would have gotten through everything that they did without hermione. its a clever idea and a unique perspective, i like it, despite myself :) can't wait for the next chapter!!

This is so great! I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter! Just one question though, is Hermione still magic and just never got her letter, or is she a Muggle? Author's Response: I have quite a bit of the second chapter written out, but I'm sad to say that all three of my stories are on a little break right now:/ I have too many huge projects and things like that for school, and my soccer team is really counting on me to take them through this tournament and win. I'll start writing again when summer comes around (Round May 30th is when summer starts for me:D)

About the magic, it's hard for me to explain this without revealing a major plot line...
Yes, Hermione is still magic, however she does not know this yet. Obviously if you are magic and live in England, you will get a letter from Hogwarts... so yes, she got one. This is where I have to stop explaining XD I have to put some of this information in the second chapter, so you'll see some more detail for that once it's posted in a while:)

Author's Response: Never met:) She doesn't know ANYONE inside the magic *world* until she meets them at the restaurant, and she meets them all eventually. Well, most of them, I can't introduce all of them in this one story. The main ones though! And, it's done...it's just in the process of editing...:P That takes a day or two. Expect the next chapter in...three days? That sounds good ^_^

Author's Response: Well, hopefully you can wait a bit...the queue is going to be closing in a bit:P But other than that, it'll be up after the new year and it's back open!:) I plan to write away this holiday break, hopefully about two chapters of this, two chapters of my other R/H story, three for my H/G one, and finish my James/OC one.sorry, i just had to plan that out:P haha.

I loved this first chapter...I can tell this is going to be a very fun story to read. I can always tell when stories are going to be good or not based on the length of the chapters; this one was 3,000+ words, which means there's good character and plot development, as opposed to 1,000 words where everything is just thrown together lol.

I look forward to future chapters and the interplay between Ron and Hermione!

And if you want to know a secret *starts to whisper* I've already written this entire story ^_^ Well...I have. but I haven't, if you get what I'm saying. It's a sort of rough draft, if you want to call it that:P

What you're saying about the 1000 word chapters is what got me started about it because the rough draft was 10 chapters long and only 1000 words each. I honestly thought I was going to post it and I thought it was a well written story. So I got back a couple months ago to post it, and it was TERRIBLE. I mean, downright AWFUL. The first two sentences Ron and Hermione meet and I was like *facepalm* :/

Then Ron grew stalker-ish, and in that draft, she never got a job at the restaurant, they just BAM started going out. I felt like I should torture people and make them wait a bit...maybe a bit of tension:D Yup. That's how I do it.

ANYWAYS. So, this is what I do to avoid studying for finals. THANK YOU SO MUCH:D For both the review and a distraction from studying;D I hope to have the next chapter up after the queue break:D

I love this story! I can't wait for the next chapter. I do have a question, though. I was wondering if Hermione already knew about magic and the wizarding world, because when she met Luna, she already knew. Like I said, can't wait for the next update! So adding this to my favorites. :) 10/10

And to answer your question, this doesn't quite follow the books. Everything happened with Voldemort and Harry and Ron, except Hermione was not a part of it. She never knew about magic (and still doesn't know about it, but will find out). It's part of the conflict in the story, so I can't quite give it away;D She doesn't know Luna or any of the Weasley's but she will get to know them once she starts her job there (one of them in particular... ;D)

SO. I hope that answers your question well enough, if not, just drop by and ask again, until I give an answer that somewhat makes sense xP
