That. was. BEAUTIFUL. I literally had that odd feeling at my spine. It really brings out the fact that they WERE kids and that they really had the weight of the world on their shoulders...literally. This was beautifully written and I absolutely loved it, even the ending. I've read the books so many times, and each time, it's so easy to forget just how young they really were. Beautifully written. I loved it. Report Review
I've read and reread this too many times to count. I love it. It pulls the fact that they WERE just kids to the front of your mind, that they honestly didn't know what they were doing half of the time. I don't know about everyone else, but sometimes I would forget how young they were when I read the books, because they just seemed as if they could do anything. I could really see this happening, and I'm probably going to continue to reread it, just because it's so good (: I just thought I'd finally review it for you. -ric. Report Review
I am very, very glad I stumbled across this one-shot. I don't normally read stories without having a pretty solid basis for doing so, and maybe I need to change my ways a bit. This was written very well, and I just genuinely enjoyed reading it! The repetition tied everything together very well, and I love the subject -- it's very real, the emotions the three of them seem to feel. They WERE just kids, and recuperating from what they'd done before the age of 18 can't have been a walk in the park. I love that you chose to examine that. And I'm very impressed by your writing style, too. Spelling, grammar, and flow were all top notch. This was a great story -- I'm just very impressed right now. You should be really proud of this one-shot. :) Excellent work!Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was worried about this, but I'm glad it seemed to work well. :) This comment made me smile so much, goodness gracious. Thank you! Report Review
that was excellent! i think an excellent ending would have been, "He knows he doesn't." i don't know, I think it would go nicely, But either way, it's brilliant and I feel it is very plausible.Author's Response: ahh, I'm sorry it wasn't the ending then! and thank you, i appreciate that so much. :) Report Review
