Tag!

I think that you have a great writing style for humour. This chapter was very fast paced and the dialogue was very snappy and reminiscent of real-life conversations. I was definitely smiling throughout the story as I read about Cat and her friends.

I also think that you have created a set of very interesting characters. It took me a few moments to figure out what you meant by "Wotter", but I do think that it's a very clever and catchy name. Cat in particular is a very unique and random character- she seems to have a very vibrant personality and she reacts very enthusiastically to the presence of her friends. I really did like the line "You do know, Cat, that tackling people to the ground is, rather surprisingly, a frowned upon method of greeting?"- I think that it perfectly sums up the reaction to having a person jump on you.

Though your dialogue was great, I think that you could slightly improve/increase the amount of description in your story so that the readers can get a better feel for the characters. For instance, in the beginning of the chapter you've barely said that it was a normal day at Platform 9 3/4 before you jump to declarations that everything has changed. You could elaborate so that readers have an easier time of visualizing the story. What makes a day at Platform 9 3/4 normal? Is it crowded with people? Is anyone crying or hugging their parents? You could also expand on your characters through their reactions to these scenes, which you started to.

I think that you've done a great job of introducing many characters in one chapter while still keeping each of them unique. I don't know who could forget Cat!

I think that you're doing a great job of intriguing reader interest and have a very engaging style of writing, so I would definitely not recommend burning anything! You're doing a great job, so keep on writing!

Author's Response: Reviews seriously make my entire day better.. and this one is probably the best, and most helpful, review I've ever gotten!
Thank you so much for all the feedback, and I will definitely keep it all in mind when writing.

Don't burn it! I think it's a great start to a story and I'm excited to read the rest of it! See, it's kind of funny because I was looking under Romance but actually wanted a story in Humor, and I found this, which seems to be more Humor than Romance. Anyway, keep it up, and update soon! (:

Author's Response: Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I've been really busy with school recently and I haven't been online in forever.
But thank you so much. Do you realize you're my very first review ever?! And as far as I know my very first reader! Your review just MADE my day, possibly my week. Once again, thank you.
The next chapter is done, and should be up soon.
