Review #1, by Serendipity1234 The Case of Win Wood

16th January 2012:
I love Win even more!! He's so great and sweet!
I can't help but feel that they're being a bit unfair to Fiona, though. Perhaps it's because her character is t directly in the story yet, but she doesn't sound so bad. She sounds snooty and idiotic, but she also sounds like she cares about Win and makes an effort to get along with him, which is pretty nice.
Maybe I'll understand more when she's actually in the story directly? I'm sure someone as awesome as Win would have a good reason to hate someone :)
I'll admit I'm kind of confused about the plot of this right now. I'm guessing it's supposed to be a mystery, but I'm wondering what guy she's going to end up liking. I mean so far the men in her life are Liam Prescott, bagel boy, Win, and Sanjay. I'm also thinking 'Year of Boys' implies more than one boy. And it's probably supposed to be a huge mystery who she ends up dating, which is wonderful -you know suspense and all that. What I'm REALLY wondering though is if this story is about any Potters or Weasleys or just OCs and other cannons? Either way I like it. Just wondering if they'll be in the story.
I really like how this story has a mix of diary entries in it, too. It adds an interesting perspective to the story, because obviously we know most of Maggie's youths as she thinks them, but the diary is fun. It's always pretty funny and ridiculous and I like how the writing style is slightly different from the normal narration.

Please update soon :)

Author's Response: Ooo, thanks for all the feedback about Fiona! You've given me a lot to think about for when she does show up in the story.
I can tell you that three out of the four boys you've listed are going to be relatively important parts to Maggie's story. And I do intend to explain what Sanjay's deal is. Hm... Maybe I should try to outline this story. That might help bring back my muse.
I'm trying to avoid having the major and canon Next Gen kids in this story for the most part. I've already got plenty of them running around in my other stories, and I don't want to be writing different characterizations of the same character.

Review #3, by Serendipity1234 The Case of Maggie Macmillan

16th January 2012:
I LOVE IT SO MUCH ALREADY!
It's flipping fantastic!!! And HILLARIOUS!! I love Maggie. She's so awesome and silly and great and funny. I love her immaturity and how she dive under furniture and babbles. And just her quirkiness in general :)
I already love Win. He seems really cool :) and the friends I like most so far are Josie and Rhiannon. I didn't really catch as much of the personalities of the others yet, besides the general details, but they all seem really cool and I know I'll love them too :)
I think Sanjay is like a stalker? Maybe has a crush on Maggie? That's the impression I got.
This was so funny and I can't wait to read more!
Please update soon!!!

Author's Response: Eeee! Thank you! I had a lot of fun with Maggie, probably because her story is based a lot on my own life. My muse for her has gone on a vacation, plus I've got inspiration for all these other stories but... I will make myself go back to her! I'm not sure when but... Maggie will be back at some point.
