I think this is a really interesting story. You've taken such a controversial stance on a really popular story line. I commend you for, in a sense, throwing caution to the wind and going with what you really wanted to write. I'm curious now, though. Now that the abortion is done, will the story mainly focus on Marian and Al's developing relationship or will Marian be having some possible second thoughts about her decision? Keep writing, because, in the end, I really hope Al and Marian end up together.

Author's Response: I have long had an issue with teen pregnancy stories. As much as I enjoy a good one, they are incredibly trite. But before I started writing this fic, I thought, well, what else would happen? If the main character had an abortion, there would be no plot! So this fic is a challenge to myself, to prove that there can be a story of a relationship and how it changes and progresses, but in an instance of not keeping the baby. So I'm glad that you're enjoying it. The rest of the story does focus on Marian and Al and their relationship, but also her relationships with the rest of the people in her life, and Marian coming to terms with her decisions and issues she has. Chapter 5 will be going in the queue asap, and I'm currently working on chapter 6, but I can't speak to when it will be finished. Thanks so much for your comments! I greatly appreciate them.

Author's Response: I'm afraid you won't get your wish. I began writing this story as a reaction to all the teen pregnancy stories there are out there. I wanted to do something different. In fact, I wanted to challenege myself to write what would happen to the plot if the female lead did have an abortion and explore how this would affect her, her relationship with her friends, and her relationship with the male lead. So that is what this story is about and I hope that, even though it may not be what you were hoping, that you decide to give it a shot anyways. Thanks for reviewing!

Ah, it's great that you've decided to post this story here. Marion is a wonderful OC and I envy readers who are just starting. If you get a good, sexy banner it'll make the story even more attractive. Just don't use Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez for your female lead 'cause they are used as the female lead in 85% of the stories with a lead OC!
