Poor Regulus, feeling trapped and wanting out of being a Death eater. I really like how you portray Lucius and Narcissa in your stories, they sound so in love and it's great to see that Lucius would do anything for her, such as taking care of her cousin, and hearing Lucius talking about Regulus having Sirius was great. Even he can see that Sirius loves Regulus.

I'm really liking how helpful Lucius is being in this, and to hear why he's around the dark lord and how he doesn't want to be a death eater, and him helping out Regulus

Even though I knew what was coming, it was still so sad to read. You wrote that perfectly and it felt like it was a missing moment from the books. That was so great, I really enjoyed it.

First: I'm so glad you wrote about Regulus. He was one of the main people that I had in mind when I posted the challenge. I thought that his thoughts would be very interesting. Regulus has always been one of my favorite characters and I love reading stories about him. The only thing I really thought was off was Lucius' character. I did think he was a little OOC, but that's just my interpretation of his character. I do think he may have been good in some aspects though. Other than that I really enjoyed reading your story!

Author's Response: I love Regulus too. He is my favorite character. Yeah, Lucius does seem OOC, but I think he isn't exactly as he's shown in the book. Those are Harry's thoughts of him. And he doesn't like Harry, so...

I rather liked the way you portrayed Lucius. I think it fits with his need to do what's best for his family. He always seems so nasty in the books, but people have to remember, those are told from Harry's POV and of course Lucius was nasty towards him.

Aah, I loved this so much! Regulus's story is largely untold, and I always wondered exactly how he managed to get the locket and discover it, as well as breaking away from the Death Eaters. I love how you've made him so close to Narcissa (and Lucius) too; his note to Narcissa at the end was just so sad :( I also love how you portrayed his relationship with Kreacher! That was really sweet too, and we can see why Kreacher loved Regulus so much later on. Also, your ending was just so sad... Reg had come so far with it all!
Ohh so sad :( The results will be announced in a blog post in a couple of days tops!
