I do like the idea of the wishing well, though. Seriously, you do capture some angst, upon a second read, that is well done without being cloying. Did I mention there's a lot of cloying stuff on this site? It tends to rub off after a while, I think it might be contagious, causing excessive use of the DELETE key when writing after reading.
I still see the theme, too, that runs through your other stuff (that I've read do far) and it's well-used here in its toned-down state. Very nice.
Or was that too fluffy of a thing to say? ;)

Ah, my old days of fluff. I'm glad you read this, though I'm not very proud of it as of now. :( I'm glad you didn't think it was TOO fluffy though, or entailed any weird make-out scenes (another subtle jab at HPFF :D).

Yeah, that's why I write before I read (until I get distracted).

I think the way you told the two stories was really beautiful. I think it is great how you made the wishing well and the wishes of the girls.
