Poor Hermione! I just hope that this isn't the end for her and she gets another chance to prove her worth to herself and to Ron. Harry would like to still be friends with her, but he's just convinced by Ron. Ugh, boys. They don't know what they want.

Author's Response: I'm so happy you're enjoying the fic. I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that writing this chapter and the next actually killed me. Hermione is my very favorite character, and usually I have no trouble making characters suffer in fic, but with Hermione it makes me unspeakably sad.

And yes, boys are silly. I have had it up to *here* with them lately, so I'm venting that out in this. Hope you don't mind. :-)

Well, that was an interesting turn of events. I can't believe Harry didn't defend her! I hope he at least comes to his senses sometime soon. Ron was a bit of a jerk there, wasn't he? Though Malfoy helping her onto the train was an interesting turn, is he going to start being nice to her?

Author's Response: Malfoy didn't actually know it was her standing on the platform, that's why he said "Granger, what was you?!" Of course, I know him being nice at all is considered OOC, but it's going to work out in the end. Hopefully.

And yes, Ron was a bit of a jerk, but he honestly thought he was doing the right thing. Boys can be a bit dense sometimes.

Ah, that's how it should have happened in the books. Peter in prison, Sirius freed, and now all we need is for Hermione and the boys to really make up, and it'll all be good. I like this even more now, and I'm curious to see where you going with it. I think you've got the characterization down pretty well.

I like it. It's different, of course, from what happened in PoA, but I still think it could be good. Are the trio going to make up, or are they simply going to keep fighting. It seems that Harry would be happy to have Hermione and Ron make up from what I've read here though. Anyway, I can't wait to see how you've changed things in this next chapter.
