Wow. That certainly is a gripping first chapter, getting right down to the point and making sure we all know about the emotions running around. I really liked how the writing seemed to fit with everything that was going on. The imagery of them needing screws retightened and to sort out the glitches in their programming are really a different kind of image for what you usually read in stories about Hogwarts but I think they work well here.

Definitely the kind of chapter that has me wanting to read more to see where it goes. The characters are interesting and the plotline has already grabbed my attention. Great job!
