Aaaw, this was such a sweet songfic!
I loved your song choice for this. It fit the story perfectly, and really flowed well with your words. What I love though, is that the lyrics fit the story and not the other way around. Sometimes, I think songfics can be just retellings of the words, but you took the song and put a great plot to it, really making it your own.
The characterization of Harry and Hermione was spot on. I'm not a big fan of Harmony by any accounts, but this was just adorable. I love the way you had Hermione still be herself, but she was changed by the war too. Harry, the same. His little speech just sounded so... Harry-like.
You really write fluff well! And I love it, so yay! Lovely songfic, hun!

Author's Response: Aww thank you so much. That has to be the greatest comment anyone has ever left for me! I really appreciate what you said as well. I try to do that with all my songfics. The way I look at them is that its a songfic because it's centered on the song, so you write the story to go with the song; not the other way around.

I'm not always the best at keeping the characters true to the way Joe wrote them but I do try. I like keeping them true to themselves but I'm not great with the way they talk so sometimes that can be a bit off.
