Review #1, by Beeezie I

4th February 2012:
Hey, this is Beeezie, here with your 6/6 reviews for your participation in the Seven Deadly Sins challenge! (Sorry - I thought I'd finished them, but when I checked my challenge reviews spreadsheet today, I saw I hadn't.)

I thought that this was sweet. I really liked the fact that you didn't portray Angelina and Fred as having had some long protracted love affair, which people often do - her comment of "Oh, I remember the Yule Ball, that was fun" worked really well in terms of this story, because it really put her feelings about him into a certain context. I also liked the things that George kept seeing that reminded him of Fred, and the fact that his emotions weren't just uniformly negative. The way he remembered Fred to Angelina was great.

However, I did feel like the beginning was a bit melodramatic. If George had decided to move home after the war - which is certainly possible - the idea that he wouldn't even touch Fred's stuff for two years didn't really tally to me, especially since - in my experience, anyway - there often aren't distinct sides. For Fred and George, seeing as they were twins, I'd imagine that there would certainly be a lot of overlap.

Thanks again for your participation in the challenge, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Aww, that's really good! but when fred and george tried to get ron to do The Unbreakable Vow, It was Arthur who had a go at them, I think. And I'd love to hear more about george and angelinea getting together :)

Author's Response: Thankyou!!

I really, really liked this. I've always thought about doing birthday fics for the boys, especially with George's memories, and I like how you worked your way through this. It didn't feel off or too rushed or strange; it was just right.
The bits with Angelina were excellent, too. They weren't too forward, but I could still see something building there.
I adored the last line she says: "He knew you loved him, and he still loves you. He'll love you forever." That was just so beautiful.
Wonderful job, dear.

Author's Response: Thanks :) I'm glad you liked it!
