10/10 for a brilliant first sentence! I've read a lot of one-shots lately but none started as well as yours did. I like your story. You're obviously a talented writer. As for you being dyslexic - I did notice a few errors but not more than in any other story so you've done a wonderful job! Anyway, I like that you take this missing moment and write it out. I love the dynamic between Ron and Hermione. The yule ball scene is a bit too long in my opinion to work as a backflash since it takes up most of the story, but it is so beautifully written that I enjoyed reading it, too.
