All 3 books in the series were well planned. Perhaps more fulfilling to have the multiple plot lines, but they were not as well developed. They could have been fleshed out more. There would have been greater irony for HP to have been Sev's best man than DM. Also DM story not complete where was his emotion with his dad's domestic violence issue and that Sev killed his Dad in revenge. Too loose to hang together. From author's notes, I realize you are/were in college. You should get a copy of a Journalism style book or a basic grammar reference book. Your grammar is atrocious. You incorrectly assign pronouns. Example "Me and her went to the store." Would be better written as "She and I" or again as "We" or as " Draco and I went ." There is not only a lack of pronoun agreement, there is also a lack of verb tense and verb subject agreement. Proof reading would likely help.

Author's Response: Thank you for your constructive criticism. As you pointed out pronouns aren't really my forte. I'm a pretty sucky writer in general, and I know that. I really only did it for my own enjoyment. I probably won't be updating this story again, so I won't be going back and fixing the chapters, but I'll take your criticism and use it for other things I write - if I write anymore. I realized I sucked and gave up lol. Thank you!

I don't really know where you've been but, I enjoy your stories, I have followed them since before Daddy Dearest and Baby Boom existed on this site. I don't know what your talking about when you say the chapter would suck. It was, as per usual with your writing, wonderful. You are an amazing writer and author, please keep up the amazing work. Writing a good story isn't about speed, its about writing what comes to your mind. If it takes forever, I'll still be here to read it.

OK SO, every comment that I haven't already made but have been waiting to make is going to be written in this. Warning you now: May take up more than 6000 characters. First, the father. OH MY GOD! Even with your little hints, there was NO WAY IN HELL I have EVER thought it would be Snape!! I mean, that's just a huge surprise! I mean, I thought it was Ron at first, and then those hints about Alix being in Slytherin, the guy being someone she'd known since she was 11, and someone she would have had to run away with to be with, had me thinking it was Draco until I realized that they were all friends now so that idea quickly left my mind and got replaced with Blaise Zabini. I would've sworn on my life it was one of the two. NEVER would I have thought it would have been SNAPE!!! That's just a major surprise. Next, I'm sorry, but as much as I love these Alixzandra Draconis Granger-Snape-Truett stories, I am a major MAJOR Harry Potter fan and believe in doing things by the book and since you so OBVIOUSLY started writing this after the seventh and final book came out (I checked my copy for the year, it's 2007), assuming that you HAVE read the seventh book and since this was written in the Next Generation Era, then Dumbledore should be dead, McGonagall should be headmistress, SNAPE should be dead, and there should be SOME awkwardness between Ron and Hermione since apparently they were dating shortly before her and Snape started dating and hooking up. Also there is a part where Hermione and Snape are reminiscing about when they started going out talking about sneaking around finding places to shag, but originally, either earlier in this book or in Daddy Dearest, it CLEARLY states that Hermione was a virgin the night they had that romantic candlelit dinner, complete with her favorite foods and dancing, and that that was the night that Snape left. Lastly, for this is all I can recall at the moment, Snape was James Potter and Lily Evans' age. He was a teacher ALREADY at Hogwarts when Hermione, Harry, and Ron started at school. It says in The Deathly Hallows that James and Lily were born in 1960, so Severus was too. That makes Severus 20 years older than Harry, Hermione, and Ron, making him 31 when he first met the Trio when they were 11, and if Hermione had Alix at 19 and she's 16 now, that means that he's 55 years old marrying a 35 year old. Don't you think that's a BIT weird? FINALLY, I have to say, I honestly was rooting for Draco and Hermione, or maybe even Draco and Alix. But now, I just really want Alix and Tyler to get back together because they really do love each other and it would honestly break my heart too if he doesn't tell her that he loves her and wants her and only her for the rest of their lives in the next chapter! Sorry this is so long, but I really hope you read all of this and I hope you make my dream a reality because I'm such a big romantic that I swear it will just crush me if it doesn't come true.

Author's Response: 1) Not all stories are written strictly by cannon. Pretty sure I covered in the first chapter that it wouldn't follow the 7th book (meaning Dumbledore's alive, Snape's alive, Hermione and Ron never exculsively dated) 2) Age makes no difference to me. Age matters when you're an immature teenager dating someone who's 30. When you get older, age doesnt hold that much weight. Draco and Alix are 18 years apart. Btw, I toyed around with the idea of Draco & Alix too. ;P 3) Thank you thank you thank you for reading this. I have to say I have really enjoyed reading your stories because it gives an interesting view point and the characters are portrayed really well. I really like the plot twists you have incorporated within the stories it has kept me wanting to read more :) I hope that you will continue with this story because I would really like to find out the conclusion. I was so frickin excited when I saw that Alix and Tyler were naming her that! Hahha sorry I got a little excited about that . Haha , ALIX AND TYLER NEED TO GET BACK TOGETHER , LIKE ASAP !
