I am confused.
And Pippa? I have a few suspicions about her.I'm pretty sure one option is why she was in that dorm. Unless she was raising puppies or something like that. (which will probably happen)

What the heeeck? I am SO confused. That beginning nearly made me reread the last chapter to make sure that I haden't skipped something. Katie is acting COMPLETELY out of character and it's really hard to believe.

I do like how you (hopefully) are setting this up to transition from Kate/Tate to Katie-Cat/Albus. ;) But I think that any of Katie's insecurities about Tate could have at least been hinted at in previous chapters. This was just SO. RANDOM.

The writing itself is so lovely, though! I really enjoy your diction and the flow of what you're saying. You're a great writer :)

And James is absolutely adorable! It made me want to hug him and just assure him he's a fabulous cook.

Actually all your characters are adorable, you really get the right personality for them I think.
I probably sound like those annoying bimbos that go on that everything is cute in that annoying high-pitched voice, so I apologise but THEY AE SO CUTE AND IT'S SUCH A WONDERFUL STORY!

Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. I don't know how else to describe this story.

Katie's character is great; I love how she's breaking out of her shell. I'm sad Tate wasn't in this chapter, though! Oh well, it had Al in it the whole time. ;)

My only complaint would be that the chapters aren't long enouh! I want to read more of this story!
