23rd July 2012:
This was a really cool one shot! I especially liked the line: "I did what any self-respecting twenty-year-old male would do...I asked my mum." That was priceless. I also love how he calls the washing machine "the beast" and how he accidently used the dryer instead of the washing machine. That was great. Awesome story. 10/10

Author's Response: Aww! Thank you so much! I really liked that line too. I'm glad you liked it.

Haha, I loved this! The you've characterised James is hilarious, I definitely want a sequel to this :) xx

Author's Response: Thanks, I really want to put a sequel up, but I have 4 AP classes at the moment so I don't have time to write until summer :(

Haha, that was quite funny. I really enjoyed it.
There's something definitely humorous about James trying to conquer a laundry machine, particularly because I can't really use them either, so I get where he's coming from!

Author's Response: Haha. I have troubles with laundering too!

I think this was an interesting idea, and a pretty light read.

James's encounter at the Muggle laundromat was hilarious, and I think Paisley seems like an interesting character so far.

I did notice a mistake though: When Ginny talks to James, it should be "You're and adult", not "Your an adult". :)

I'm looking forward to when this makes its way into novella status! ^^

Author's Response: Thanks for letting me know about the mistake :) and I'm glad you liked it. Hope I can get the novella on track.

This is absolutely adorable! James is such a dork. I loved this one-shot and I particularly love the way you write. It's so descriptive and makes everything come to life. I am looking forward to the novella on paisley and James. Im sure they would make some hilarious stories if you decide to post more! :D

Author's Response: Glad someone thinks James is dorky :) that was part of his character I don't think a lot of people got. The novella is a in the WIP stage of writing. Thanks for the review!

Ahh, that was adorable! By the way, I think I'm going to start calling my drier "the beast." Or maybe the box. I don't know. Maybe both? Like alternate between the two?

Sorry. I'm rambling. :)

Anyway, like I said, it was adorable. I loved it. :D

adorable. james is clearly a failure but a very sweet one at the same time.

"That machine is the washer: it washes things. And that one is a dryer: it dries things"

BEST. QUOTE. EVER. and strangely similar to the signs at my halls

Author's Response: hahaha thanks so much. that's one of my favorite parts too :) so glad you liked it!
