Wow! Wasn't expecting that ending. I thought this was very realistic, and it was a bit out of character for the characters for me, but I thought you ran with it and portrayed them well, for what you wanted them to be. I loved some of your ideas, like avoiding the press and the funerals. I had never thought about that before. The only other thing that threw me off was the present tense.

But I liked it a lot!
