Review #1, by Mystique One Night

27th May 2012:
Hi, its Mystique with your promised review.

I really enjoyed this story. There aren't many Teddy/Lily stories but I could certainly imagine this happening. Its an unusal plot and you leave the reader on a bit of a cliffhanger. Have you ever considered writing a sequel as there seems to be a lot more to tell.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I actually don't see many either. It was a suggested ship, so I went for it. ^_^ As for sequels, I tend to not. Half the fun is the cliffhanger, letting the reader create the rest in their minds and guess at it. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. And thank you for reading. ♥--Jenna

This was really surprising. I have never thought about Teddy/Lily. It's quite good, apart from when you think of the age difference really.
I like how you portrayed Lily. The whole idea that she lives her life for her not how people generally live their lives, is a good one.

Author's Response: Thank you. ^_^
The age difference between them bothered me as well, that's why I made them so much older for the story. The older you are, the less an age difference matters.
Thank you so much for reviewing! --Jenna

I loved it!! Great job and I love the cliff hanger. Wish there was a second one but there doesn't need to be which is just as great. I really like the Lily/Teddy mix.

Author's Response: Thank you! :) --Jenna

I could have swore that I did this before...Sorry. I must not have hit the submit button.

Anyway! I love the way you did it, with Teddy thinking there could be something more, but Lily truely only wanting one night. The ending was great, what with Teddy out on Lily's balcony only in his boxers and her just getting dressed...that would be a great explosion, I would imagine.

I'm sure there was more I wanted to say, but I can't remember it now. Great story though!

Author's Response: Aww thank you. ^.^ I'm glad that you liked it and thanks for helping out with the pairing. :) I don't think woulda worked out so well with a different pair. --Jenna

This is a really good story! I must admit the pairing seemed a bit strange, but in the same way it seemed to work. Lily's life seems amazing! I thought it was a good twist for Teddy to find out that she was married, and an even better twist to find Harry there at the end! I can only imagine what would happen after that...
The language that you used flowed and seemed very natural, and I also think that you did a very good job of weaving the lyric in to the fic.
I liked how the fic also stayed in reality to an extent- How Lily just saw the night as a result of too much wine and sexual frustration.
The only criticism I can seem to find is that some aspects of the story seemed to be outside of the HP world. For example the references to Albus buying a TV for example... But, now as I think about it, it may not be that strange- This is a long time in the future, and if Harry was brought up around these things, then maybe it's not odd... Okay, so you can basically ignore that last thing, hehe.
Very enjoyable fic overall ^_^

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really wanted to go for something that I'd not seen done, so it means a lot that you found it to have twists!

Funny enough, I actually went back and forth on that line. But in then end, it just flowed better with TV than wireless. :)

Thank you so much!! --Jenna

Hi :) I absolutely love this. I've never found a Teddy/Lily before and it seems like such a good story. But with a cliffhanger like that, how can you limit it to a One-Shot? Please make this into a longer story, do it justice ;) HP

Author's Response: Aww thank you. :) I've never seen any either, but then again, I don't exactly look for them. :P Oh but that's the fun part, letting the readers guess at all that could happen. Thank you for reviewing!! --Jenna
