I was hesitant to read this, because it's after 2 and I really need some sleep, but I did. And I'm so freaking glad I did! :) I was kind of... appalled, at first, when I thought Lily'd given in and James was just going to reject her. And then I got this hope that it was an act, but I didn't think it was true, BUT IT WAS!!! Ha, sorry, I felt really cool in that moment. Great minds think alike, right? Anyway, I loved this story. I like Lily's genius mind, and James' temporarily horrible reaction, and the "dun dun duuun" sort of ending that makes you realize that the story led you into what made James love Lily, even though it didn't scream it at you the whole time. SO! Now that I've rambled for a while, it's bed time! 10/10!!! I would fave if I could sign in...

Ah! This was great! I was searching for inspiration for my James/Lily one-shot, and this story was just amazing! I haven't read this sort of take on it before & I absolutely love the originality of it! 12/10

I love this story, It's different to most fanfiction that says that James was always in love with Lily and that he wan't just in it for the chase.

Author's Response: Thanks! That was exactly what I was going for. As much as it's nice to think that a boy would be head-over-heels at such a young age, I think James would need to grow up at some point.
