What... What? What? I'm confused as to what's going on... O.O Update quickly so I can have some questions answered :)Author's Response: Yeah, sorry about that. Intro chapters are rather difficult, if you want to keep up the suspense, aren't they? :) Don't worry, I'm working on the next few chapters, hope to have chapter 3 up soon to clear up any questions. :D Report Review
Harry's... Dead? Whoa. This is gonna be one crazy fic. Report Review
I stumbled upon this story when I was on the forums (someplace I never really am) and I'm glad I did. Your writing is wonderful and the first chapter, wow! I never usually read stories that are dark and where Harry is not alive so this should be interesting!Author's Response: Well, I'm glad my story's the exception to the rule! ;) I hope the rest of the story will keep you hooked-- I'm working on fleshing out a bit more before I continue posting. Glad you like the first chapter! :D Report Review
I'm really excited by this story. (can you tell I love AUs, and the more out-there the better?) I think you've done a very nice job with the tone of this opening chapter; it could have slipped out of a very sad version of the book. It reminds me of when Harry was cleaning out his trunk at the beginning of Deathly Hallows; not sure whether you did that intentionally but the echoes are very effective. You have a very ambitious project on your hands and I'll be following along!Author's Response: Well, I'm glad SOMEONE will be reading along as I write. :P I know AUs tend to turn people away sometimes, so I was a bit wary of posting. :) Actually, I hadn't thought to echo the beginning of DH. I was trying to keep in line with the books, and how each of them opens with the Dursleys and Number 4 Privet Drive. It seems my subconscious is a better writer than it lets on. :P Thank you for the lovely review! Chapter 2 should be up soon, so be on the lookout for that! :D Report Review
