Haha its not Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone it's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone!

Author's Response: Not in America :P

I was citing the American version, which (aside from the title) has some slight changes in it from the British version.

Thanks for reading, in any case...

Review #3, by baletgir Remembering to Dream

I like this as a possible epilogue, but personally I loved J.K.'s actual epilogue. I do enjoy the ambiguity of it all, but if it weren't for J.K.'s epilogue we would have half of the wonderful FanFictions that are so popular today (Scorose, Teddy/Victorie, anything with Albus, JamesII, Lily, or Hugo) I think I would have been very upset if I didn't learn much about all the characters! But now I'm just ranting, so back to your piece...

I think it was nicely written and short and sweet. I think you did a great job with it!

Author's Response: First, thanks for your review, and I'm glad you liked my story! Ambiguity is really what I was aiming for - in fact, you probably noticed that this is actually completely canon-compliant, so JKR's epilogue could even still apply :)

Secondly, I can definitely see where you're coming from when you talk about JKR's epilogue, but I suppose I look at it a bit differently than you - namely, that I felt that by showing who married who and who had kids and such, JKR kind of locked us into this one view of the next generation. I agree that a lot of great stories have come from Scorose, Teddy/Victoire, and different interpretations of Albus, JamesII, Lily, and Hugo, but since we were given the epilogue, we have a very concrete idea of what the next generation is going to look like, which limits creativity in a way.

Ah, now I'm just ranting too :P I suppose I just like fluid endings in general.

Again, thanks for your review! :)
