I remember these moments vividly from Half-Blood Prince. You've done a really believable version of the event using Hermione's point of view here and I was really impressed with how thoughtful this was. I liked how the scenes flowed from one event to another, I thought the transition was pretty smooth. And you've really captured Hermione's anguish and frustrations well here and I liked how bullheaded and observant she was. One thing that didn't sit well with me was that conversation she had with Harry. I thought the humour in it was quite funny and clever, but Harry was a little bit off for me. Both he and Ron had always been uncomfortable about talking about romantic feelings and I was surprised to see him so open about discussing it with Hermione. Or maybe I should just give Harry a little more credit? lol I dunno. Overall, this was incredibly well-written and I enjoyed reading it a lot, so good job! xtinjsc (Hufflepuff)Author's Response: Thankyou so much. I love a good honest review, and criticism is important in that. You are right. Harry would not have been comfortable at all. I may be overestimating him a little, or maybe im imagining him on the cusp of becoming an emotionally approachable man lol. Report Review
I really liked this! It was very good, a very accurate description of the feelings a girl has when the boy she loves is with another. You are a very good writer, I would love your thoughts on my own stories to improve them! Report Review
