i really enjoyed this story (: its nice to get a glimpse into dominique. there are so few stories about her. i liked how the words fit into what they were thinking and saying. and one question: how did the picture inspire the story? just a curious reader (; 10/10

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm glad you thought it fit so well. :) The picture inspired the song actually, I was looking at it and I knew I wanted it to be a songfic and Somedays by Regina Spektor came to mind. After that I just needed to fit the song and the picture together better and thus came the story.

I love that song! I thought it was so cool that the picture made you think of that song. I would never have thought of this story to go with that picture or song, but I love it. The story was very nicely written, and it's such a unique perspective on Dominique. I'm glad she got her spark back at the end though, even if I do feel bad for the poor Ethan fellow.
