Poor, poor Ophelia! Ophelia is right that it is only her opinion that matters, not his family's or friends. I think all his friends want her to give in and date him because they all told James that she would say 'Yes' and they now feel responsible. It is crazy that he is willing to ruin a close friendship over this. Plus, he is willing to take all her friends away from her?

Obviously we don't know the other side but for now it does seem like James is acting selfishly. It's like he thinks he is entitled to have Ophelia fancy him--he thinks he is living in a fairy tale. Maybe he should have someone remind him that both his mum and grandfather James were rejected before the other person came around.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your long review!!! I'm actually going to go down a totally different road for the story, which might be a TAD different than how you're imaging it, but I bet it's going to be quite interesting when I'm done with it XD!

But I so agree with what you're saying. He is acting very selfish as though he is entitled to everything, but I guess that comes with the territory of having a famous father. You wind up getting a lot of the things you want and I'm not sure James knows that there ARE occasions when people say no!

This is a good start to the story despite the currently overused first person narrative. I can't wait to find out what happened "that night in the Astronomy Tower" between James and Ophelia.

What year are they in at this point in the story?

Author's Response: I'm glad you think it's good so far. I think that starting stories can be the hardest, so I'm hoping it will get better as time progresses!

At this point, they're in their 6th year though I know I never mentioned it.
