This is quite an interesting start! I can't wait to read what happens next. I think you've set up a wonderful start to this mystery: definitely creepy. Your descriptions seemed to be appropriate in both length and placement.

Though this is, I guess, the prologue I feel like you could have extended this to be a bit longer. The part with Aysha or the detective could have been drawn out. Or another scene could have been added.

But all that aside, great job!!
