Author's Response: I'm glad that you liked it. I've had this idea for awhile, it just took the matter of sitting down to really write it out. It was a very emotional story to write, and has so many possible endings. Part of me wanted to fix it so that it could still be canon (because after all, if Draco went through with his marriage to Astoria, then Hermione could later marry Ron and the Epilogue could still happen the way that it was written.)

This was definitely cute and I loved the fact that they were already together and did those flashbacks. I almost feel bad for Astoria though :(

So since you didn't go through the whole 'is this relation possible or not' period, it's quite easy to accept the fact they're together. However, the end does seem a bit sudden.

One moment he's smiling and raising his glass, the other moment he tells Hermione that he wants to share his life with her. Maybe you could make it a bit longer? :D

Beautiful story and I read your other review; it would be interesting to see it from different pov's.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It means a lot to me. I got the idea for this awhile back when listening to the song. I played with the idea for awhile, deciding exactly where I wanted to go with it. And I didn't want to spend most of the story talking about getting them to that point, so like you said, I used flashbacks (and will use more) to sort of tell the background of the story. And as for the end, at least the way I have it now, I was seeing as more of him kind of putting on a brave front in front of everyone, at least that's how she sees it as she's spying, sort of. Then he sees her, the first time he's seen her since he broke it off, and basically can't resist.

However, i have decided to take the ending out, and continue on with at least another chapter, if not several more, to kind of expand the story and use more flashbacks to help talk about how they got to the point where they are now. I just hope I don't ruin the story that I have now.

I was so excited when I saw the it was WIP, then I read the end and you gave it all away, so I'm sad :(. But I liked this, it was really, really, really good!

Author's Response: Well, I was going to change it to completed as soon as it was validated, but you've now inspired me to change it :) I was going to leave it as just that, mainly because I've never written anything longer than a one-shot songfic, but I may leave out the last paragraph and then turn it into a short story (if it can stay one!) and be like 5 chapters. I just don't want to get too repetitious with the song lyrics though. I guess i could make it three chapters though, and since this is from Hermione's POV, have one from Draco's and then one from Astoria's.
