Author's Response: Well, the next chapter is going to be about Jane's niece but I will add a letter from Jane to Beth, just for you =)! Well, Jane had a brother so that is how the Potter name stays in the family! The next chapter should be up soon, I hope! It takes place in 1815

A great chapter, I really liked it!

Not that I know much about that era, but the language sounded appropriate, especially when Jane said 'I do not have an urge to speak with you'.

I adored the idea that Jane has a mind of her own, and doesn't make it her highest goal to find a husband.

As for grammar and punctuation, I thought a few commas were missing here and there, but that's no biggie. In the first paragraph, you say 'off to someone exotic'; somewhere?

Your descriptions were lovely, well done with that! Especially Jane's parents, in the garden.
