Review #1, by Kristi best friends

22nd February 2011:
"Wingardium Leviosa this!"--Love it! I like that you gave us more background information on Val and Seph. I also love that Valiant is the one responsible for Persephone becoming the carefree girl with the ever-changing hair that we all know and love. I want to know what Demeter did with Percy. Are you going to write more short stories about other characters in OTWAD, like Nicholette or Jacob?

Author's Response: Yes, Val and Seph are such awesome characters that they simply demanded more time in the limelight. And yes, Valiant was responsible for who Seph is now. Generally, best friends are pretty influential like that. And am I going to write more stories about the OCs in OTWAD? In one word? Yes.

Review #2, by hollan best friends

21st February 2011:
You are the most talented writer on HPFF, I loved this story and being able to see more of Seph and Valiant outside of Shiloh's view, it was a cute story to hold us out for the new chapter of OTWAD.
I love how similar Val and Shi are but so different, I think by the end of year 2 Shiloh and Valiant will be good friends.
I loved how you went into Seph's family also, I understand why she doesn't like them, but I am VERY curious to know what Percy and Demeter did.
Hope you do one on how Val, Seph, and Nicolette met, anyways this was brilliant.

Author's Response: Aw, you're so sweet.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story as much as I enjoyed writing Seph and Valiant outside of Shiloh's view. Yes, I do love of similar I made Val and Shi, as it was far from a coincidence. I think you're right about them, because I think the two will be able to understand each other in a way that even their best friends cannot.

Yes, Seph's family are very special people, and I know everyone is VERY curious about Percy and Demeter. And I intend for them to remain curious, haha. I feel that this is one of those things that I should let the readers wander about and believe what they want to believe. The truth would probably be much more boring than the mystery, so ponder away, Hollan. Ponder. haha

Yes, I should definitely write one about Nicolette, as the little one deserves some time in the limelight. Unfortunately, it will have to wait for now. But rest assured, there will be other side stories about these OCs other than what is in OTWAD. They demand attention.

Review #3, by Kristi worst enemies

16th February 2011:
Love it! I am glad that we get to see more of Valiant and Persephone, not to mention how their relationship went from enemies to best friends. Tracey Davis is supposed to be a half-blood. Is she trying to pretend to be pure-blood or are you writing her as one? Also, I was wondering how many Slytherin students (particularly girls) there are in your stories. Can't wait for Part 2!

Author's Response: Yes, I'm aware Tracey Davis is a Halfblood, which is why she is so preoccupied in proving herself to be 'like one of the purebloods'. In the OTWAD, there are nine Slytherin girls in Shiloh's year (Shiloh, Symone, Annadel, Valiant, Persephone, Pansy, Millicent, Daphne, and Tracey). This addition is due to the fact that if there really is 1,000 students in Hogwarts (as JKR said) then statistically there would have been more students in each year and (logically) an uneven amount of being sorted into each house. (I seriously don't believe that there were ten--five boys and five girls-- neatly sorted into each house every year.)

Part 2 should be up soon, once I get around to proofreading and posting.

Thanks for the review!
