Review #1, by Toujours Padfoot Same Old Ground

26th March 2011:
This was lovely. Your Sirius is so in-canon, it's amazing. I halfway kept expecting Althea to barge in (they're soul mates!) the whole time I was reading it.

You really have a way with writing. Don't ever stop. :)

Author's Response: Thank you! :)

I had this plot bunny in my head for ages--especially after reading about Sirius's boyhood room in book 7. The frustration of a man that went through life (at least seemingly at Hogwarts) with ease--good-looking and attracting all sorts of attention of women--to post-Azkaban where a woman would be afraid to be alone in a room with him. And what woman would want to date him? He lives with a portrait of his deranged mother, an odious house elf, and where could he take a woman on a date? The sitting room? I can see him watching people be paired off in the Order and Molly's matchmaking meddling and he's thinking, he's not good enough anymore.

Yeah, Althea, haha.
