Baww, I felt sorry for Hermione in the end. It must have been so painful for her to realise that her child left them like that. :( Running away sounds really romantic and captivating in theory and in story books, but in reality, it's really just painful for everyone to go through the experience. I like how you only focused to the romantic side of it here, though the ending really was a tad bittersweet. Scorpius and Rose's relationship seemed solid and strong enough and I like the part when Scorpius asked her if she was sure about what they were doing. It made me think it was her idea after all. :P It was a sweet, quick and fun read for me, so yay!

Author's Response: wow, thank you. I think this is the longest review I've ever gotten. Bittersweet is exactly how I'd describe the ending. Rose's parents really messed up. Hermione is the real enemy later, as you'll see if I ever manage to finish the sequel/epilogue. The romance really was the deciding factor in this, because as much as Rose loved her family, Scorpius was the most important person in her life.
Rose is a Weasley. Of course it was her idea :)
