You are the most fantastic writer. I was supposed to leave work an hour ago, but instead I've been sitting at my desk reading your story. I'm amazed at how intense the emotions are. Somehow you've taken a character I hated so intensely in the HP series and made him into a character I love and adore. Please, I beg of you post another chapter soon. I can hardly wait to see what happens next. I so badly want Dramione to have a happy ending, but I'm also enjoying the climb up the side of the mountain.

Yes, this chapter in particular was very intense, indeed, and that is a great word to describe it.

Awe, I made you love and adore someone you hated? That really is a complete turn around! But I guess I have tried to create him as someone true to character, but with an in-depth look at the inside and what he could be capable of (at least in my head). Hopefully, I've done it in a way that is still believable.

The war has begun and there is much to write. A "Climb up the side of the mountain." How so very true because that is what writing this story has been like... a tough climb and trust me when I say, as it gets more and more steep, it seems to get more difficult to write. I am committed though, but do try to be patient as I have a history of being slow to churn out chapters. :(

Aww I'm such a sucker for romance. I love the end of this chapter.

"They would not return to the graffiti walls under the courtyard. But if they had, they would’ve seen a new message added to the perpetually changing wall.

For Hermione had touched it when she stepped onto the boulder.

In doing so, she left her print on the magical wall and it had read her heart, causing it to conjure a rather large pink heart that simply read, “Hermione was here… with her Prince."

You! You've successfully ripped my heart out and shredded it into pieces... This chapter. Gah..

I love that Hermione came to him full of concern and a desire to take away all his pain, isn't that what we all want for the people we love?

And then for her to drop that bombshell and say that she loved him leads to one of those, "Well, now what?" moments for us readers because we know how torn he is already and how desperately he wants to keep her safe, but her telling him she loves him just makes it that much more difficult for him to do so.

AND THEN he has to be the "good guy" and show her his "true colors" because it's the right thing to do. And while yes, it was the right thing to do, it's such awful timing that it hurts. Gahh.

Now it's all a big mess and he said that he loved her back and she couldn't even tell him that saying she hated him was only a heat of the moment thing and that she was just shocked and angry because he'd left out the truth for so long.

OH MY GOSH!

Okay... I need to stop repeating everything that happened back to you and just tell you how bloody fantastic this chapter was. I know you were scared that it wouldn't turn out right and didn't know how to do all the specifics, but you did an absolutely wonderful job and I applaud you on that. Keep up the good work, I absolutely cannot wait for the next chapter, I know from here out it's going to be heavy stuff, but gahh... Keep up the amazing work.

Awe, I shredded your heart? Oh my, sorry for that. This is sad, indeed. I just want to cry for them, especially now that we have reached this pivotal moment in time.

You are so right. We want to protect those we love and take their pain away. So true.

Oh, yes... She just came out and admitted her true feelings for him. She offered herself, but did so out of love for him. And you are so right... "Now what?" What in the world is this torn gentleman to do? Well, now we know. We have this glimpse of him being a truly "good man" because it is the right thing, but terrible, awful timing. It's just heartbreaking, truly and I'm glad as a writer that all of that came across correctly. But of course, he is still flawed at using an Unforgivable on her.

The end of this chapter was planned since day 1. It is now a 'big mess,' just as you said. Draco thinks she cannot love him and that miscommunication will bring him much pain. and she will regret saying that she hated him, because it just simply isn't true.

And the tragic thing is that she won't just be able to tell him in the morning. His time at Hogwarts is over. The war has begun and there is much "heavy stuff" coming as you have expertly predicted.

It actually quite weird to think that even though it's so far into the story, it feels like we've barely scratched the surface of this story.

You're right, this chapter felt like it would have been fairly difficult to write, but I'm glad that you tried hard and you made it work. Some of it was hard to picture, but I found it was at parts that I would have a challenge writing too, if I was you.

Congratulations at your accomplishment of getting to one of the climax that we have all been waiting for.

It's hard to believe so many chapters have gone by to finally get to this point. Trust me, it wasn't supposed to take this long originally. :) There is still much to write, but I'd guess we are 2/3rds into it or more, really.

This chapter was terribly hard to write. I still am not happy with it, but it will just have to be what it is for now. It was hard for me to describe what I was seeing in my mind, which you mention. You are so right and I'm sorry about that. I did try.

Thank you so much for your congratulations. I had no idea it was going to be this tough to get to this climax. I put a lot of pressure on myself and was afraid to disappoint a lot of people if I didn't get it right. So, thank you so much for sticking it out and waiting so long.

I would like to say that I absolutely love the story you're writing. The story feels complex and simple at the same time. The incorporation of the book and how it connects to Draco. I think that is an amazing idea.

How Hermione reacted to the Dark Mark had me crying. But it gave me hope when she finally heard Draco say that he loves her.

This chapter made me think of one song from a Korean boy group, if you're willing to listen to it, ( look up "SHINee Don't Leave" on yt, since I can't link you to it, it should be the first video on the account of LOEN ENT ). There are English CC with it ^^ Maybe it can help later on?

I would give you not 10 out of 10 but 100 out of 10. And the title for the chapter suits ; - ;

It is interesting that you mention that it is complex, but simple because that is what I set out to do originally. I wanted to create a story that was easy to follow, but with a little bit of story twist with a magic book that would make it more than simple, but not complicated. So thank you very much for that! It reminds me of my original goal and it must be working. :) And thanks for mentioning the book. I think there are several fics out there about books, but I wanted to make mine an important magical element in the story. So thank you. The author of that book is a known wizard in JKRs series, but it is much to early to spoil things. :)

Yes, Hermione's reaction to the Mark. Yes, it was heartbreaking as Draco knew it would be. ;( But hearing someone say they love you changes things. It just does. So, there may be some hope yet.

I looked up that song and I am SO IMPRESSED with SHINee! Wow! Amazing! They sung it beautifully and reminded me of Boys II Men or NSync. So beautiful. And the lyrics! Oh, my stars, they fit perfectly! *Gasp!* "Those times when we hated one another, I miss everything." If that is not D/H in this story, I don't know what is! "I can't let go of the words, 'I love you.'" Gah! I wrote every lyric out on paper and will indeed revisit it. As you already know, this is much of what Draco feels. It's amazing, really. Thank you so much for suggesting it. It truly is beautiful. You cannot write a song like that without having experienced those emotions... and did I say how beautiful they performed it? I listen to many emotional songs while writing. It puts me in the state of mind that I need to write. This is exactly the type of songs that inspires my writing. THANK YOU!

I ship Draco/Ginny. Not "Drinny," as that sounds like a word used to describe snot and I like to think I have some dignity left. Just plain Draco/Ginny.

I know Dramione shippers tend to dislike the ship, and most D/G shippers don't particularly care for D/H. I know I certainly don't care for it, either. Somehow, both characters end up so OOC to the point where I can't enjoy it. I like D/G because Draco is vicious and cold and everything BUT good, and it's got the best angst. Also, I've had too many bad experiences with D/H fics being slapped together to want to go looking for any more.

Well, this review has turned into a pro-D/G anti-D/H thing, so I suppose I ought to just say it: your story is the only Dramione I have been able to stomach all the way through. And not just stomach, but actually ENJOY too. Draco is a bit of an angstpot, but he's perfect for the dreamier Hermione. I would like to commend you on making your Hermione a relatable Hermione. She likes books, but she also worries about her blood status. She is not a boy-crazy six-foot-tall babe with blonde hair who likes to wear corsets and stilettos to the Great Hall. For that I am grateful. And yes, that is a description that came from one of the first D/H fics I ever read. It was scary. And the grammar was really bad.

I'm tired and rambling now, but I just had to say that this was great and I am so, so glad you updated. I've never gotten so happy over Dramione before! So- thanks, and update soon!

I'll admit, I don't recall ever reading that ship, but I do love an angsty Draco, so I shall give it a try. And I understand about some Dramione stories not being all that great, but I try to keep in mind that many are very young writers and some are from countries where English is their 2nd language (brave ones, they are). So, I understand what you mean.

Is it bad that I obsessively check my notifications for your posts. I'm so glad you let me, umm I meant everyone :) , know when this story is updated.

Wow. This was an intense chapter. So full of love, hate, lust, drama. I was devastated when Hermione said no. I was heartbroken that she could love him because he made a mistake.

She offered herself. It was sweet and not slutty which tends to happen a lot in dramione. You made it her choice, she loves him and want to show him. She was smart about her decisionand approached him and was firm in her resolve. It was perfect. I loved that he resisted at first and didn't just hope in to bed at her first suggestion.

He finally told her the truth and his worst nightmare cam true. She rejected him. So horribly sad. I want them together. She was his only light in the darkness.

Hermione was true to form and insisted he switch side now before too much bad could happen. Oh, I wish he would listen to her because then they could love each other.

At first I thought she would be red-hot with anger because he had used the imperius on her. But the brief glimpse inside her head let us know that she couldn't hate him. She loved him with her whoel heart. Gosh, this chapter was sad.

Draco, poor draco. At least he did the right thing and told her the truth before it went too far. It was brave of him. I wish it had ended better for the two of them. I wonder how they come to speaking to either other again.

10/10 as usually.

Anyway, well, now that you have read this chapter, you can probably understand how I struggled through it. I knew the end, it was the 'how to get there' part that was the problem. There was plenty of Dramione action in this one. Love, hate, lust, drama... you listed them spot on.

I was very torn about hermione offering herself. Was it too out of character and too slutty? I was truly worried about that. I was really torn about writing it that way. I wrote it several different ways (part of my writer's block, really), but in the end, deep down, it was what needed to happen, I think. I certainly did not want him to push her, so it had to be her suggestion, you know? She offered out of love. He needed to be torn. And I needed to set it up to where she was admitting her love first, which is then how he ended up asking THE question. And it was so important to get right or this entire story could've been a huge Failure! Ugh!

His worst fears came true, poor Draco. He knew it. He knew starting a relationship with her would be disastrous and it all came true. My heart cries for him.

I could not let their relationship go any further without having her try to pull him to the right side. It had to be said. She had to try at this point, but perhaps too late. :(

I wanted to have Draco still be the flawed Death Eater that he is in using the Imperious. How dare he do that to her! But Hermione could not switch from loving to hating so quickly. That's just not how love works. She knows that now, but couldn't voice it.

Yes, he did the right thing in telling her before they went too far. I have had that planned from day 1 and it has been such a long, long time ago.

How will they ever speak again? Well, I have my sad, tragic plans, of course. ;(
