Eeee! As soon as Al said, "Spelling. I recommend you work on yours" I was thinking of Mischevious Kiss! (: I'm really excited to read your story haha.
I also want to say I love your writing, grammatically and the vocabulary you use. Report Review
thanks for this wonderful story !!!Author's Response: And thank you for reading! Report Review
I hope this indicates the beginning of June becoming a bit more independent and sure of herself... but I have been wrong in the past. And she stops reading romance novels, but that is more wishful thinking than anything else :P I'm enjoying the Sherlock (Cumberbatch version) Albus, makes him that little bit more attractive, yes? But I'm enjoying the story anyway... despite June being a Hufflepuff... :PAuthor's Response: LOL to the Sherlock (Cumberbatch version) Albus...he isn't as much of an...let's stick with the 12+ version of a clueless, unfeeling prick as Sherlock. He's certainly somewhere on that spectrum though! And I don't personally find that more attractive but to each their own - and I hope you'll find that as the story goes, June being a Hufflepuff is a good thing! I used to feel like being in Hufflepuff was kind of lame too, but as I got into this story and writing more about the Hufflepuffs, I got more fond of the house and I hope you'll feel that way too! Thanks for reading! Report Review
this has made me laugh so much. I love June and Albus is seriously adorable (he really needs to learn how to treat his crushes - if that makes sense)
I loved how you made fun of all the cliches that I swear are way more present in next gen fanfiction than any other time.
p.s. this is probably really creepy because i'm stalking your stories, it's just cause they're so great! Report Review
I LOVED THIS STORY. watching June grow up and her and albus are so friggin cute together. i loved your writing style and this story was a cute end to my day :) great story. i loved it. Report Review
PROGRESS! THIS IS PROGRESS! albus and june, actually tolerating one another?
i love it! june isn't nearly as dim-witted as before, she's smart and cool and funny and albus is all ADORABLE and i just want to read the next chapter. Report Review
i know this is going to sound extremely weird and convaluted but i think albus's punishments were kinda sweet. he was obviously jealous of henry and he wanted to spend time with June. PROGRESS? I THINK SO! I LIKE THIS STORY, IT MAKES ME SMILE (and has successfully gotten me procrastinatin for half an hour.) Report Review
why is al such a douche? and why is she so, um, you know, silly? BUT REGARDLESS, i love this story and im really excited to see how it unfolds, i like how you haven't made the characters perfect, it makes them more realistic. but i really hope June gets a little more sense in her and Al becomes a little less harsh. and it would be cool if June and Lily became friends. GREAT STORY THOUGH, SO READING THE NEXT CHAPTER LIKE, NOW! Report Review
That was pretty ballsy of June! Maybe I might start liking her... Report Review
June is just so hopeless!! Report Review
June is so frustrating and clueless, and brainless. Ugh, sorry. I mean, you've done a really good job developing her, and giving her, her own personality and soul, but ohmygod she just irks me. I'm more of a Priscilla kind of girl (that girl's my hero by the way, epic rants are epic rants) and June's undying optimism and blind, shallow feelings towards Albus just make me want to shake her and tell her to wake up, damn it.
Albus is such a git. I really like that you made him mean without giving him a sob story to explain his pratness. It makes him realistic, because there really are people out there that are just mean for the heck of it. I can be mean myself without a reason, although not to the extent Albus is.
Priscilla is just awesomeness. For real. I mean, I rarely fangirl over fanfiction characters, especially females, but she's just really brill. If she was a real person, she'd be my best friend, I swear.
Moving on to the next chapter now! Report Review
NO YOU STUPID STUPID GIRL JUNEsh Report Review
I just finished this story and I loved it. Especially the excerts from Love at Hogwarts. You must have really thought about all the Conjuring Charm stuff. I thought that you portrayed Harry and Ginny extremely realistically.
I'm loooking forward to reading the sequel.

OMG Social Suicide! Argh... I feel so bad in such a bad way after reading this... mind you that doesn't mean that I don't like it ;) Report Review
A brilliant ending to a brilliant story. :) Report Review
OMG. It's over. :O I want a sequel! Please... It'd be soo great if there was one about their lives out of Hogwarts, and how her relationship with Al grows! There could be like a reunion too!! PLEASE!!!
I don't want it to end! All of the best stories are either finished or are finishing! :( Report Review
That was a truly wonderful conclusion to the story and this is coming from someone who didn't want to read the chapter because it would mean facing the fact that the story was ending. But, I eventually gave in and read it and and the chapter was well worth facing my fears!
The scene between June and Hufflepuff was my favorite scene. I've never thought much the purpose of Hufflepuff, but June's insight is brilliant. Helga is the Molly Weasley of Hogwarts--full of the desire to nurture her charges and make them feel like part of a family no matter their backgrounds, strengths or fears. The idea of June and her friends needing a home, a place to be safe, made me tear up.
'Bathing in Roses' has such intelligence, humor and originality. It's been an honor to have read this story, especially since you could be writing professionally There are other skilled writers who write fanfiction in Harry Potter but very, very few of them actually finish their stories. You're the elite!
Thank you for everything, it's been a pleasure reading this and I can't wait for the sequel. Report Review
Congratulations on completing your story! I love this last chapter. June does such a good job of summing up all she learned (in a nonacademic way) at Hogwarts. I loved that Helga talked to her! The prank was well done. The whole chapter was satisfying. I enjoyed the cameo from Clemence. I am glad that you are continuing the story into the future a little. I am curious to see where everyone lands. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have really enjoyed getting to know June and her friends! Report Review
This story was so good! I can't wait to read the sequel!
10/10 Report Review
A really lovely story, I loved it. Wow, it managed to make me really sentimental (not sure how I feel about that). I also enjoyed your nod to Clemence Fitzgerald. Really, really great work. :) Report Review
Amazing final chapter!
I loved her conversation with Helga. I've always had the secret desire to be a Hufflepuff. Especially after reading your story.
The prank was awesome. Especially the part where they included the badger. (Loved the mention of the Honey Badger)
I like your explanation of the 'Bathing in Roses' thing, and how she realized that nothing in that phrase was really important or necessary.
Can't wait for the sequel! Report Review
