Hey darling, here with your review!

Firstly, I love this! it is tender and thought-provoking and beautiful. Lily's voice is lovely - i really got the sense of a woman looking back, someone older thinking back to when they were young. there is a real nostalgic quality to this and i really like that.

you wanted to know if the flow and structure worked. they did, very much so. it flows seamlessly from one event to the next and i think the absence of dialogue helps that. direct speech would have broken this i think. the structure is also lovely - it follows a linear chronology of events in canon and you interspace these with your own musings - your own lovely characterisation of lily and james.

i think this line is one of my favs: So we took our side and joined a war because we were young and passionate and thought we were invincible.

Shiloh, this is absolutely beautiful.

I love the way you wrote this. I'm not usually a fan of this particular style, but you made it work and quite beautifully, I might add. It's just...ugh, it's flawless.

I had to laugh at your dedication. You might be onto something there. I really do think we love them more than they loved each other - except not because that's impossible.

This is amazing. I don't normally read fluffy things like this, but I love it. It's sweet and yet sad at the same time. Sad, because we know what happens to Lily and James. I want to tell them to never trust Peter, to let them have a chance at raising Harry more than they get.

All the same, it was beautifully written and absolutely stunning. I love it. And that's rather hard for me to say when I don't really like anything with fluff in it.

Very nicely done! This was an adorable and touching little story to read. My favorite was line was, "...revel in the life that grew even as death was our constant companion." I think that's a very apt way to look at Lily and James's experience of expecting a baby in a war torn world. Great job!
