Review #1, by TenthWeasley Fred

20th March 2011:
Wow! I just love twin fics, especially ones such as this - angsty ones on George dealing with Fred's death. And your lovely story certainly didn't disappoint my expectations!

You've captured all the emotions and thought processes very accurately, and what's more is you've done it without excessive wordiness and repetition, which is very admirable. In a way, the story is reflective of itself in its brevity and simplicity. That's a very, very hard thing to do, so well done. VERY well done!

There's not too much I can say about this story, because I really don't have any CC on how to make it better. ^^ I only spotted one thing, I think:

even if they were in the middle of their OWL week and he most important thing should have been studying

I think you meant 'the most important thing' here. ^^

Loved the story - you've done a great job with this piece! You have a very nice style of writing.

Author's Response: Hehe... I always like reviews that start with the word Wow. It gives me a very good feeling about the rest of the review :)
I've got to agree with you in that angsty-post-Fred's-death- George-twin-fics are some of the best. I think most authors, if they're cannon lovers, want to write their own version of it. I'm not complaining; whenever I want to read something to make me cry, I go straight to a story about the twins.
I've been trying to work on my angsty writing style, which is why this piece was written, but I haven't been getting as many reviews, compared to my humour ones. I'm glad you thought it was well done (no CC can only be seen as a bonus :D) You were right by the way; it is supposed to be the instead of he. Darn it. I'm going to go edit that right now. Otherwise, it'll bug me all night. Thank you very much for such a lovely (and very helpful) review.

This made me cry, seriously. I'm like you, I normally write and read humor, but now I've gone all angst. Awesome, descriptive story, and I hope you keep writing.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm definitely going to keep writing... although the angstyness thing that was going on may have been sated for a little while. As strange as it sounds, I'm kinda happy it made you cry. It's not that I'm a creepy sadist, but I do like to hear that I didn't go overboard on the emotions. Thanks again for reading and leaving a review!

Author's Response: Aww, don't be sad! It's okay! We all miss poor Fred, but we can get through this together :) Thank you very much for leaving a lovely review!

Very good, very emotional.

Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to write me another amazing review! I really appreciate it! Emotions are really hard to write for me (maybe that's why I'm writing all this angsty stuff...) so your review really helps me out! Thanks again!

A interesting one-shot here. The emotions were done nicely. George's thoughts were nicely organized.

Good Job

Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm always thinking that I've gone overboard with the emotions, so I'm really pleased you think I've got them right. Thanks again for reading and reviewing!
