Rowan sounds quite adorably dorky and I enjoy reading the story from her point of view. Your characterisation is good, I like how you've portrayed the Marauders! However, I was a bit disturbed by stern ol' McGonagall "scurrying" away - she just doesn't strike me as someone who would scurry. :o
Other than that, this is all very promising! I look forward to your next update, girls. :D
