Very interesting prologue, indeed. I really appreciate you taking the time to follow the original canon and storyline; it makes for the story as a whole to seem more realistic. I think it is interesting that you have taken some of the facts that we know (Kingsley becoming Minister) but have added their own personal dilemma to the situation.
