Beautiful. The description, especially at the beginning, was lovely and really absorbed me into the story - the one thing i love most in this world is such lovely description, which you pulled off. At times, it was a bit dark, which suited the one-short perfectly, you managed to capture the characters personality and emotions despite how shot it was. It was fantastic, also, i think the banner suits it well :)Author's Response: Thank you. Sometimes I feel that I become too descriptive and too flowery, and other times I don't think that I'm descriptive or flowery enough. Sometimes I feel more poetic than others - but I'm glad that you appreciated my descriptions in this piece. I wanted, indeed, to make this dark - not too dark, of course, but I wanted to capture Lucy's heartbreak and Molly's betrayal. I'm really glad that you feel that way - as for the banner, I know right? Ha ha, I was so pleased when I happened to stumble upon it! Thank you for another lovely review! ♥ Linders Report Review
Awwe. That was so sweet. I liked it- especially how Lucy overcame the darkness of Molly and Scorpius' betrayal. You shouldn't be afraid to love again, and I'm so glad Lysander showed her that. It did have its dark moments. Like when Lucy sprang on Molly in her rage. But that was to be expected, after seeing her own sister with her boyfriend. And of course, the depression Lucy faced afterwards. But there's always light at the end of the tunnel. At the end, this is a story of hope. While Lucy isn't 'fixed', for lack of a better word, she does feel much better. The last line reflects it, as well as the hope Lucy is now feeling.Author's Response: Hehe, thanks. I'm really glad that you liked it. Yes, I feel the same way. I feel that sometimes once people are jaded once in love, they're afraid to try again lest they be burned. Yes, I thought that it was to be expected as well. I'm really glad that you enjoyed this story despite it's darker moments, but I felt they were quite necessary. Report Review
There was so much powerful imagery in this one-shot and I highly approve of it. I haven't had the pleasure of reading many well written new generation one-shots. Those especially like Molly and Lucy, the rather ignored Weasley children. I loved, loved, LOVED, the incoporation of all the characters. Dominique and Louis seemed well suited to your intrepretation of them. Scorpius was quite a scandal but I'd imagine him as a restless boy that would almost crave scandal. There was something that almost put this one-shot in a different time period, almost Under the Tuscan Sun esque. I loved it though. There was whimsy and lightness and sweet adoration just surrounding the aura of this ficlet. I did adore it; its easily a favorite of mine now. LMW (10/10)Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review and the praise! I really appreciate it. I'm glad that you thought that it all fit in quite well because sometimes I quite doubt myself and if I make things too full. However, myself, I like things that are descriptive and lush and it's refreshing to find that other people do, too. Thank you again for you time and the lovely reveiw! Report Review
Hullo Linders! These crazy next gen kids, they just can't keep their hands to themselves can they? Haha, and it always seems to be the sisters, tut tut, they really should know better ^_^ Actually, I take that back. It's always Scorpius. That minx...*rambles* Anyway, I really enjoyed this piece and there was something about it that was a bit old fashioned? It almost reminded me of a victorian novel or a period drama or something. Just kind of Louis absurd but innocent antics, and all this furtive kissing and declarations of love and what not. It might have been an angsty/romance but it kind of felt fun at the same time. I mean, Lucy got to have her own little kickass moment at the end, and it was funny to see Scorpius get what he deserved and there was something so satisfying about Molly's kind of silent-dumb-guilt. It was like "Yeah Scorp, you totally missed out, 'cause Lucy has Lysander now and she rocks and so does he. Nanananana...' ;) Lucy was a really easy character to warm to. I liked this piece, it was kind of whimsical romance, and the plot and the description was very beautiful and delicate :D And I enjoyed the ending very much, even if that Jester hat seemed to pop out of nowhere, but artistic liscence and all that! Another lovely piece to add to your new name! ~ H xxx edit: p.s you so have to go write a piece where Scorpy is a good-guy so I can fall in love with him again now! ;) Only kidding. I've always loved Lysander anyway :)Author's Response: Hello, my darling Helena! No, they can't. Tsk, tsk. Especially on Scorpius. I think Molly was a victim here, too. Though, not in the same way that Lucy was, obviously. I'm really glad that you thought that, as I really enjoyed writing this piece despite the fact that Lucy was so miserable for the first half of it. Indeed, she did. Ha ha, well, she is a witch. I say she conjured it wordlessly because it is possible in the Wizarding World, after all. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. P.S. : Ha ha. I probably will, though. I really do love Scorpius, and I tend to make him the good guy. However, he can't be the good guy in everything I write. Then I would clearly have a bias toward him and we can't have that, now can we? Report Review
